Ian Chuter joined Playtech in October 2015 as a strategic advisor and will leave the business on the 31st of October to accede to the newly merged Ladbrokes-Coral company as Chief Operating Officer – Digital.

Chuter’s specific area of responsibility during his one-year terms was to review the overall Playtech Sports offering and to consolidate the sports subsidiaries into a single, Playtech Sports operation alongside the hiring of a new senior management team.

Mor Weizer, CEO, Playtech, said:

“Ian has done a first-class job during his time with us and delivered exactly what we asked; a stronger, consolidated sports business that is capable of providing the best Omni-channel technology offering with the industry’s best talent on board to provide and implement this across large-scale projects.

“The three appointments we have made align with our strategic vision for Playtech Sports and our Playtech ONE technology of creating a simple and intuitive experience for customers as well as creating an opportunity to extend beyond online and mobile and into further retail opportunities.

“On behalf of the Playtech Group management team, I would like to thank Ian for his significant contribution over the last 12 months and look forward to continuing to work with him as we continue to deliver excellent results for both Ladbrokes and Coral.”
