Malta

Licensed

Malta has licensed remote gaming since 2004 and is a licensing hub for operators serving other markets. The Gaming Act 2018 replaced the earlier regulations. Article 56A, added in 2023 by Bill 55, lets Maltese courts refuse to enforce foreign judgments against Malta-licensed operators on public policy grounds.
