State monopoly

Online play is prohibited unless the state authorises it, under Law 19.535 of 2017 and Decree 366/017. The only authorised online platform is Supermatch, run for sports betting under a DNLQ contract. Land-based casinos are run by the Dirección General de Casinos or private concessionaires.
