Slovenia

Licensed

Under the Gaming Act (ZIS) of 1995, online licences go only to Slovenian companies already authorised for land-based play: the two lottery concessionaires, Loterija Slovenije and Športna loterija, and the casino concessionaires. Sports betting is reserved for Športna loterija. Unlicensed online operators face fines of up to EUR 250,000, and the Financial Administration needs a court order for each ISP block.
