Peru

Licensed

Law 31557 created online licences for casino games and sports betting, issued by MINCETUR through its Directorate General of Casino Games and Slot Machines, and the licensed market started in February 2024. Operating without authorisation brings fines of at least 150 tax units, and the Penal Code sets one to four years in prison for promoting illegal games. Licensed operators pay a 12% tax on net revenue.
