Licensed

Online casino games have been licensed since 2011, alongside betting, poker and lotteries under ADM concessions. Legislative Decree 41/2024 reorganised online licensing: a tender held in 2025 offers nine-year concessions at €7 million each, with at most five per corporate group. Advertising of games of chance has been banned since the Dignity Decree of 2018.
