French Polynesia

State monopoly

French Polynesia sets the rules for casinos, lotteries and betting under its organic law, while the State sets controls and penalties. Pacifique des Jeux, a Française des Jeux subsidiary, has run the lottery and sports betting since 1991. A Conseil d'État opinion of 20 May 2025 found that the 2010 French online licensing regime has not been extended to the territory, so online casino and poker cannot be offered, and there are no casinos.
