Australia

Partly licensed

The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 prohibits online casino and online poker for Australian residents. Online sports and race wagering is licensed by the states and territories, mostly the Northern Territory, and credit cards have been banned for online wagering since June 2024. ACMA blocks unlicensed offshore sites, and BetStop, the national self-exclusion register, opened in 2023.
